Scholarship Applications for 2023

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Upsilon Omega Omega Chapter is pleased to announce its annual college scholarship awards. Applicants must be a high school senior planning to enter a four-year college/university in the fall of 2023. Applicants must be attending a public high school in Lexington County or Richland/Lexington School District Five.

Requirements:

  • Scholarship Application (complete with all requested information).
  • Cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
  • Official High School Transcript.
  • Attend school in Lexington County or Richland/Lexington School District Five.

Deadline: Applications accepted February 20, 2023 – March 31, 2023. 
All applications must be postmarked by March 31, 2023.

Jackie Moss-Williams Legacy Scholarship
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Upsilon Omega Omega Chapter is pleased to announce its annual Jackie Moss-Williams Legacy Scholarship award.

This legacy scholarship is awarded each year to a graduating high school senior who is the child, grandchild, adopted child, stepchild or legal ward* of an active member in good financial standing with the Upsilon Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Requirements:

  • Have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.00 to be eligible.
  • Provide documentation of involvement in community activities and service projects.
  • Be accepted by an accredited college or university at the time of the scholarship award.
  • Submit a complete application by the deadline to be considered.
  • Submit a four-paragraph essay in response to the essay prompt.

Deadline: Applications accepted February 20, 2023 – March 31, 2023. 
All applications must be postmarked by March 31, 2023.

IHF Scholarship
The Ivy Heritage Foundation of Irmo, Inc. is pleased to announce its annual Scholarship award.

Applicants must be a high school senior planning to enter a four-year college/university in the fall of 2023. Applicant must attend a high school in Lexington or Richland County.

  • Scholarship Application (complete with all requested information).
  • Cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
