Greetings!

I am Tawanda Lawton Webb, President of Upsilon Omega Omega Chapter and I welcome you to our official website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, and home of the Unique, Uplifting, Unparalleled, and Unforgettable Upsilon Omega Omega Chapter. It is indeed with great honor and humbleness that I proudly serve as President. We are more than 200 strong active members—a sisterhood grounded in service, united by mission, and driven by the desire to uplift our communities.

Upsilon Omega Omega Chapter have served the Irmo-Lexington Communities for more than 25 years, and we remain committed to serving this community for generations to come. Our rich legacy includes a few of our distinguished programs such as the Emeralds of Excellence Scholarship Program and Debutante Cotillion, Upsilon Omega Omega Chapter Scholarships and the Ivies and Pearls Scholarship Luncheon where we’ve pride ourselves in awarding over $500,000 to deserving college-bound students. Additionally, we have co-chaired the Midlands Cinderella Project and participated in countless service projects throughout the community.

We have contributed in meaningful and impactful ways, establishing our chapter as a distinguished pillar of sisterhood, service, and leadership. Our unwavering dedication to serving mankind continues to amplify our collective voice, strengthen our communities, and exemplify the profound impact of purposeful leadership. I am confident that our shared spirit will guide us toward even greater achievements, fueled by the determination that define us. Together, we will achieve notable milestones, enhance our programs, strengthen our chapter, and expand our impact locally, nationally, and internationally.

Under the leadership and guidance of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed, and the 2022-2026 International Program theme “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood,” we are eager to serve and enthusiastically implement these program initiatives.

The International Program includes six initiatives:

·       Advocate for Social Justice

·       Uplift Our Local Community
